Lancaster Equality Fest

On July 3rd, 2020 we had our very first community event showcasing local youth talent to educate families around equality and civic engagement. Equality fest is a celebration of art, culture, food and activism that shares what some of Lancaster's Black Lives Matters Movement protesters have learned over the past few weeks with the broader community.
We are looking for financial support from our community and allies to be able to keep covering the costs of this event, including arts and craft supplies, materials for petitioning/protest signs/voter registration, food costs, DJ, tech/equipment, etc.
Should more funds be raised than is necessary to cover the cost of this event, the money will be utilized for other future events that will help ensure that the current Civil Rights Movement does not die off before we see the reforms we demand and are owed.
While we do not represent the protesters at-large, we thank you on behalf of the protesters and the black and brown community for your donations!
In ending I would also like to let the community know that through this fundraiser we have paid a young lady from Haiti with 8 children's Rent for 1 month! We also were able to supply her and her children clothing as well as hygiene, and house hold products. We have been able to just about every day supply a child in a need of shoes or clothing in our city. As well as helping out mother with Infant babies dippers and/or baby formula. This has come such along way for our community here in Lancaster and I pray with all of my heart and soul that this will continue on! #TogetherWeCan ❣️
