My name is David Lamartiniere and I am one of the directors of Lamar Cares, which is a non profit organization dedicated to FEEDING, EDUCATING, and BUILDING the community.
August 22, 2020 will be our first annual back to school event. Although we are in unprecedented times, Lamar Cares wants to give out praise and hope to the students for this upcoming school year, whether that be traditional or virtual learning. We want to ensure that school supplies needs are met for the kids in the community. We have a goal of 60 backpacks full of school supplies to the South East Raleigh Community. The funds raised from this Gofundme, will not only go towards that, but also towards ensuring that this a successful event
The Drive-Thru Back to School Drive will have Free Food, Free School Supplies, Free Car Washes (Outside Only), Free Mask and Sanitation Products, Voter Registration, giveaways and more...

With Covid-19 my team and I will closely be monitoring all NC guidelines and rules, practicing SOCIAL DISTANCE and Require FACE MASK.
