Lainie's Positivity Fund

My name is Holly and I have an older sister who works harder than anyone I know. Lainie is 30 years old. She is the mother of two little girls, works at a spa, runs her own business and studies from home. She has a partner named Kaine and together they make a pretty good team. But as hard as my sister works, she can't always catch a break.
This past week, Lainie's house was broken into and her car stolen. In the car was an expensive baby seat and other personal items. These strangers broke into the house and were in the same room where Lainie's 7 year old daughter - my niece - was sleeping. As scary and as inconvenient as this event is, it made me think of another event that set Lainie and her family back.
This time last year, Lainie's partner Kaine suffered burns all over his body after catching on fire after a barbecue exploded in the backyard. Also burnt in this freak accident was Lainie's then five month old daughter.
Both Kaine and my youngest niece recovered, with some scars remaining, but the whole ordeal was terrifying. Lainie loves her family and nothing in the world is more important to her. In 2012, our mother was being treated for bowel cancer. The entire family rallied around and came together but the person who was mostly beside my mums bed side, both at the hospital and when she was finally back home, was Lainie. In between being a mum and working, she was mum's carer. 
It is hard to sum up how selfless and hard working my sister is. She rarely asks for help when she needs it, and she would do anything in the world for her kids and the rest of her family. She has always been there for me as a sister and best friend and I hate to see bad things happen to such awesome people.
Lainie deserves a holiday. And a diamond ring. And a brand new car. But I'm not here to aim for those things because all I really want to give her is a foot up to recover from this latest blow.  When I spoke to her about this break in and car theft, she was obviously annoyed but she mostly kept saying "I'm just glad it wasn't worse." Sure, she had to fork out for a new baby car seat but her first thought when the cops came to her door (she hadn't realised the car was gone until someone reported it) was that a family member had been in an accident. She was relieved to hear that it was just the car that had been hurt.
If you can afford to help my sister, Lainie, recover from this latest event, I would be more than grateful. And so would she. Lainie deserves a bit of positivity.
