Hi, we’re the Lacey family — I’m Travis, my wife Samantha, our two daughters, and our four cats.

What began as a place of hope turned into a battle for our safety and peace. For months we’ve endured harassment, false accusations, and hostility. On August 19th, a fire tore through multiple trailers in our community — just 20 minutes after we reported the firepit hazard. Instead of being thanked for speaking up, we were singled out, blamed, and treated as the enemy.

At first, we thought Texas was the answer. Family, familiar ground, and like-minded people made it seem like the only way forward. But through prayer, encouragement from friends and family here in Oregon, and conviction deep in our hearts, God made it clear: we’re not meant to run anymore.

This is our home. This is our girls’ homeland. And this is where we’re called to stand, fight, and rebuild.

Samantha is pressing forward with her photography and now pursuing journalism — ready to use her voice and lens to shed light and speak truth. I’m working nonstop to provide and secure stability for my family. Together, we’re determined to plant our roots and finally create the safe, stable home our daughters deserve.

But here’s the reality: we must be out of our current home by September 15th, and we cannot make this transition alone.
