Brain Lesions/Transplant/Plasma

I haven't updated in a while because of the dose of plasma I didn't know if I would continue treatment.Now it's showtime with stem cell transplant.The cost is approximately 10,000.00 to get started. My deductible of 5,000.00 starts again in the New Year for out of pocket Mac to pay 100.00 .It's been 20 months of brain swelling.Who would of thought this could happen. After everything I've been through, I woke with my eye shut thinking what has bitten me. I could feel my face numb and different. Fast forward.Three days of 1,000 mg of steroids and every blood test with scan after scan figuring out what rare neurological disorder.Then, 30 days of inpatient, miles of traveling, and prayer I stablized with still we don't know what to do. At first ,walking was difficult.I needed a wheelchair and cane to make my strides.Now no wheelchair just the cane for support.Meanwhile, all I could cry about was seeing my daughter and making sure my princess toddler was okay.She is worth the fight until my last breath.There is this Superwoman strength that comes out of me with every hug and every wet kiss on the cheek from her.But now its time for stem cell transplant and most aggressive chemo.Before it was just getting through the day, now it is becoming getting through the next months, and even years. Time is not on my side, the brain can only take so much edema and pressure.Insurance deductible starts over as of every New Year. I am usually one not to ask, but for the sake of my daughter I can put my pride aside and say this is what she needs not only me. I need a biopsy, an electric scooter, and just inpatient billing. I do treatment every week. This money will help me be there hopefully to one day watch my daughter walk across the stage of her graduation, give her away at her wedding, and be the grandmother to the grandkids that are awaiting in the future. But most of all, be there for all the precious moments that will make lifetime memories she can hold in her heart.
