<div>In 2025 Loving Men+ became a registered social enterprise through the establishment of the Loving Men+ Community Interest Company. Social enterprises are organisations doing valuable work in the community, in a manner similar to a charity, but with a bit less of the red-tape.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now that we are a CIC, any profit made by Loving Men+ goes back into the organisation. And if Loving Men+ ever folded, any remaining assets are required by law to be passed on to another charity or social enterprise.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Becoming a social enterprise brings with it more responsibilities and some increased costs as a result.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So, we have set up the <strong>LM+ Community Fund </strong>for people to donate money to help us continue and develop the work of Loving Men+ CIC. This fund will help us cover the core costs of running a CIC, promote diversity and inclusion for all sections of the GBT and non-binary communities, contribute to the development of the LM+ through community events and training, and keep workshop fees affordable for everyone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You can contribute on a one-off or monthly basis. Even a small donation can make a big difference and help us carry on our work in the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here’s some of the things people have said about how Loving Men+ has contributed to their lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"It has been 'life changing' for me personally, in that I have been able to connect with other gay men in environments where growth and support can flourish. The support and insights I have gained have helped me combat much of the isolation, shame and trauma that I have experienced as a gay man".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"...a nurturing community… learning how to develop intimacy and connection with each other, and resolve a legacy of pain, isolation and shame in a non-judgemental and loving atmosphere".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"Loving Men has helped me to combat internal shame and to find pride in myself and in my community"
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"I was recovering from a breakdown, and a friend recommended attending Loving Men. I arrived in the space of 90 other GBT men, feeling lost and overwhelmed, soon to be engulfed with a whole range of emotions, but one the most easily recognisable for me was, Love. I felt heard, seen, but even more importantly, felt valued and respected".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"I have attended for the past 6 years and my social anxieties have gone, my interpersonal relationships have blossomed, and both personally and professionally I am becoming a version of me I could not have even imagined without Loving Men".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"Loving Men has transformed the way I see my relationships with other queer men".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"A space where you can be your true self, vulnerable, cry and laugh".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"I smiled ten times more than I normally do. The support and sense of belonging continues. I've made new friends".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"It opened my eyes to the possibility of not being "alone" in the world".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"... all of the facilitators managed to create a safe space in which I felt able to speak about deep-seated issues. It was a very liberating experience".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"Loving Men has helped me flourish as a Bi man after many years carrying the oppressions handed down".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"Loving men to me is love, compassion, self-healing, belonging, coming together and sharing …a place where we can make real friends".
</div>
