Kuerstin's India Trip

 Hello Family and Friends,

I am so excited to announce the opportunity I have for a mission trip. I am so blessed to have been chosen by Cross Timbers Community Church to go to INDIA! I will be traveling with 4 other students, our youth Pastor, and his wife. This trip is allowing me to help others and also giving me a chance to find a deeper relationship with God. I want to give myself to HIm and to find ways to serve Him all the time. I know we will accomplish amazing things.

I will be visiting the slums and poorer areas of Mumbai, India. I personally want to bring some happiness and a bit of God's love. As a group we want to let those living there that they have not been forgotten. We will be partnering with a mission organization Sower of Seeds. Check them out at www.sowerofseeds.org . I was lucky enough to hear a few young girls that were rescued from the red light district in India speak at the Simplicity Woman's group at our church. It was unbelievable and I know that together we can make a difference!

I recently graduated from Guyer High School. I will be attending UNT in the fall to pursue an education that will guide me in helping others.

The total cost of the trip is $3000.00.  I need to raise $1500.00 by the end of March for the down payment. My mom Kerry and I will cover as much as possible. I know she will make great sacrifices to come up with the funds for this trip. Even though I am still in high school I work many hours and will also pay any expenses that are expected. On top of the trip costs I will need to pay passport, visa, and a few other misc. expenses.  I have a lot on my plate saving for this trip as well as college in the fall. However those who know me know that I am a very determined person that won't allow any obstacles to sacrifice my chance to help others.

I would be so very grateful and blessed with any support you can give me. I know money is tight these days so don't worry if you can't support financially. I could also use a lot of prayer :)
