Kristen Abroad & New Experiences!

Hey family, friends, & supporters!


I am proud to say that I have been honored & blessed with the life-changing opportunity to represent Baylor University abroad this summer! By the grace of God I was one of only 20 students to be selected & accepted into all three programs I applied to. Now it's time for me to make a decision & I need your help! Two trips to Ghana focus on serving to build community development & progression in medicine/healthcare. I have also been invited on an educational trip to Madrid in which I would study the Spanish culture. Your generous donations will help me determine which trip I can afford!!
My goal is to open my mind to new experiences and cultures. I have never traveled internationally and I hope to use these opportunities to gain real-life knowledge of what these countries are like outside of the classroom.I believe that these experiences will only further my ability to one day become a well-rounded, culturally aware, & understanding physician. I also want to show other minority students that we have the ability ourselves to close the gap of under-representation in our university abroad programs. My ultimate goal is to share my story & relationship with Christ so that others are encouraged to walk by faith & strive for success. All it takes is prayer, determination, & support!
