Oceanography Degree for Kitty

This is my friend Kitty Bronson in her kayak in Trap Pond Delaware... doing what I have always known her to do - communing with nature with care and attentiveness.
She is in school to get a Bachelor's of Oceanography and is very near to finishing! I have watched her working fulltime jobs, with parttime jobs, making and selling crafts, trying to save money by raising and harvesting her own food and doing any other little thing she can to raise money for school - and she is coming to a crunch and needs some help.
Kitty has always strived for balance in life between science, spirit and nature - and this is a further manifestation of that philosophy. She wants to be a voice of reason to encourage others trying to untangle the distortions at the extreme ends of the debates about environment and holistic living - distortions she had to fight through to find a balanced path between reasonable consumption and reasonable conservation. Sustainable life!
Her special passion is the wetlands, bays, seas, and oceans. Even her nickname, Seadottor, means 'Daughter of the Sea' in Old Norse!
She hopes to use her education to further ecological research, provide education to the next generation, and help everyone she can reach discover and maintain rational guidelines for living a quality life while recovering a relationship with mother nature.
