Kirsten and Steve Edling are two of the strongest people I know and I am blessed to call them both family. They are both fighters and continue to inspire me everyday.
The past few months have been tough on Kirsten and Steve and I would love to have this campaign give them a little peace of mind as they pay medical expenses, transportation costs to and from the hospital and allow them to continue to fight through these conditions.
In late August Kirsten was taken to the hospital with a tingling sensation going up and down her left side. From different testing that she underwent it was discovered that she has a left temporal AVM. This AVM is one that needs to be taken care of to avoid future issues. Following this discovery Kirsten has been in and out of doctors appointments to figure out the best method to treat this issue. Today she is undergoing another Angriogram andGamma-knife surgery.
A few short weeks after Kirsten's diagnosis Steve was also brought into the hospital due to sharp stomach pain. From these tests Steve was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. After a successful surgery they did remove the mass that was in his colon! To make sure this is gone for good in a few weeks they will begin a round of Chemo-Therapy for the next six months.
As they continue to be strong fighters and focus on each other's conditions I hope to give them some inspiration and assistance. Please continue to send prayers and good thoughts to Kirsten and Steve as they continue to fight these illnesses!
