My name is Katelyn Davis and the reason why I'm starting this campaign is on behalf of my mother Kim Davis, as you see in the photo added.
She was a very loving and caring mother of three children, friend, daughter. She did so much for everyone that was around her. She let many people in and took care of them even if they weren't her flesh and blood.
On Wednesday morning (3/11/15) at about 2:30am, she was found on the floor unconscious and unable to breath. Her loving boyfriend immediately called 911 and began to do CPR on her as it did little to no help.She was rushed to the hospital and the first words the doctor said to us was "she's very ill, close to death". We unfortunately did not know what has caused this to happen. All we could think of is that her side of the family has a history of heart disease, diabetes, and she also had asthma.The doctor told us that she had respiratory distress which then led to cardiac arrest. From not getting oxygen to her brain and that amount of time that she was on the ground caused her brain to swell up so she lost all of her brain cells. She was a vegetable. The doctors told my family that there was nothing else they can do to help her.We sat by her side the whole time she was in the hospital hoping for some kind of miracle to happen. Unfortunately we lost her and do not have the funds as to she has no life insurance..We are asking everyone and anyone for a donation, little as a couple dollars will help my family a lot.
