Love from a Distance: Kim Klemish Fund

On December 29, 2012, my Aunt Kim was diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer: Grandulosa Cell Ovarian Cancer.  Everyone in our family was devastated, and we continue to struggle with the fact that her life will be shortened.  Recently, we discovered that her illness has progressed to Stage IV Ovarian Cancer with metastasis to the liver.  Although Aunt Kim has a loving and extremely supportive husband and 2 amazing twin girls, you can imagine the financial hardship that chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and countless blood transitions present.  

I am extremely family-oriented but unfortunately due to multiple deployments in the Air Force and being stationed far from my loved ones, I have been unable to offer the physical support I would like. I am asking for your donations to help alleviate some of my family's financial burden. Over the next 6 months (August to January), I will be challenging myself to complete as many miles as possible towards raising donations for this cause.  Below is a list of the two donation options I would like you to consider.

2. Donate per mile I complete in my physical challenge (I will provide biweekly updates with my progress.  My goal is 300 miles over the next 6 months.)
