Kim's 40th Birthday in Middle Earth

In honor of my 40th Birthday in 2018, I plan on crossing a BIG THING off my bucket list: getting myself to New Zealand and doing the Lord of the Rings Red Carpet Tour . There is a tour that leaves on December 1st, 2018 (the month of my birthday) and I would love your help in making sure that I am on it.
The Tour is a total of 14 Days and covers both the North and South Islands of New Zealand. It STARTS with Hobbiton (and the December tour includes a banquet at The Green Dragon) and ends in Pelennor fields and covers everything in between. It is THE premiere LOTR tour, endorsed by Peter Jackson himself. It is also, as someone who has never traveled internationally by herself before, the perfect way for ME to travel, as I will be in a group with a whole bunch of other nerds.
Getting there does not come cheap, even when you factor in the NZ conversion rate. The tour runs just over $5,000 (which includes all lodging, NZ transport, most activities, all breakfasts, three lunches, and three dinners) and flights have been pricing around $2500. I'm factoring in the bonus excursions (including a helicopter tour up into the Mountains where they shot Fellowship of the Ring), the flight from Queenstown to Auckland (to catch my flight home at the end of the tour), and additional food money into my goal. The good news it that I have until 30 days before the trip to pay the full balance!
Any gift/donation you could make would mean the world to me. No amount is too small because it comes from YOU. Sorry for asking for a birthday present a year in advance...but as you all know, I am a planner and this is what we do.
