Kims Medical Treatment

Hi my name is Jill and I’m starting this campaign to help my friend Kim raise money so she can get a new treatment for Multiple Sclerosis at the StemGenex Facility (https://stemgenex.com) in California. My friend was diagnosed with MS in 1996 shortly after becoming a single mother. She raised three beautiful little girls throughout all this into three beautiful responsible, intelligent young women. At the time they told her it was 10 to 15 years until a cure. Sadly that has not happened yet but there is a new treatment that looks exciting! I’ve never seen someone fight so hard to not let such a debilitating disease like this keep her from continuing to do the things that she loves to do which is work, taking such great care of family, friends and complete strangers. I am in awe of her by the things she has accomplished and how she keeps fighting so hard against this disease from defining her. She just does not give up! She lives on a fixed income but she keeps retraining her skills to adapt to new employment opportunities to help supplement her income as it gets more difficult to walk.

This procedure uses your own stem cells to regenerate the damaged cells. Also the procedure can help to restore mobility and is also been proven to help alleviate migraine headaches. Kim was diagnosed migraines when she was 15 years old.

Kim was selected and approved quickly, 29 January 2018 is the date for the procedure. We live in a small town in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan which makes it difficult to raise money quickly for to help Kim.
