Every day for 100days in the NICU that little man showed me what the value of life really means and that we should not waste it. So I got completely Sober, no weed, no alcohol, no anything...I wanted to be the best version of myself I possibly could for my Son. Weightlifting and fitness became a stronger influence in my life during that time and there was also a part of me that wanted to show my son his father was strong too. My son has motivated me beyond belief to be a better person, and this competition is a physical representation of the hard work we have BOTH put in to never giving up. I have even gone back to school this year to be a Certified Personal Trainer because of the passion that has been instilled in me and the drive of being able to better provide for my son.
The USPA Nationals this year are in Columbus, Ohio from June 27th-30th. I live In Oregon with my son and the plane tickets alone for each of us are close to $500 roundtrip. Registration fees for Nationals are close to $200 and Hotel Rooms for 2 nights would be close to $250. The longer I wait to buy these, unfortunately the more the prices will go up.
To be honest I have idea if this will work, but It would mean the world to me and my family. I know its not a medical bill or emergency, but every dollar received makes the dream that much more a reality and I would be forever grateful for you guys. If there's any questions you guys have please feel free to ask...
with much love
