Saplings provide a unique education for children with autism. Here, in Kill village, Saplings are held very close within our community’s heart.
In recent years, Kill Senior Ladies Footballers have organised numerous successful quizzes. COVID-19 has brought an unforeseen time in our lives. So, we have decided to host a virtual quiz, and on this occasion all proceeds are going to Saplings.
To join our virtual quiz, we are asking for a donation of €5.00. There is no limit on donations! All support, however big or small is as always greatly appreciated.

The Saplings Schools are co-educational specialist schools, providing quality education for pupils with autism and complex needs. Each school offers a range of child-centred, autism specific education which draws on a range of evidence-based interventions.
There are 5 Saplings schools in Ireland, located in Kill, Rathfarnham, Carlow, Goresbridge and Mullingar. Saplings operates as a Patron body to these schools.
Saplings mission statement is to support individuals with a diagnosis of autism and their families; assisting them to achieve their full potential and participate in their family and community life, through the provision of holistic evidence based services, celebrating each individuals dignity, uniqueness and right to an optimal education.
Saplings has 3 main value statements;
1. Children with autism and their families are our most valued assets and essential participants with a shared responsibility in fulfilling our mission.
2. The quality motivation and performance of our staff are the key factors in achieving success for people with autism.
3. We are committed to the highest quality ethics and integrity of our services.
