KILCLIEF- community park & pavement

Kilclief Residents Association is raising £10,000 to create a community garden at the centre of the village.

And to build the first bit of the pavement between the village and the beach.
Once the park is completed, the Council has agreed to take it on its books for asset maintenance and insurance purposes.

The pavement will be taken over by Transport N.I. after a period of 12 months if we build it to spec.

So far, we have aquired the land, and met with Council, TNI and Planners to agree how to move forward to prepare for the planning application and start work on the park.

We are also appealing for residents to take cuttings and propagate sea-side resiliant plants this winter for next spring - click link here to see Kilclief sea-proof plants
