Kiki's Brazil Adventure

Kiki is going to Brazil, and needs your help to meet her goal!
Kiki has been working hard in school, and is the first in her class with a GPA of 4.0 for the second year in a row. She volunteers locally, is involved in Speech and Outdoor Leadership, and has recently been accepted as a Rotary Exchange Student. She has been assigned a full school year exchange in Brazil during the 2018-19 school year, and will be in Brazil for 9 to 11 months.She will be staying with host families and attending school in Brazil. She is also currently working on learning Portuguese.
Kiki has already raised over $1,000 on her own, and I wanted to reach out to family and friends to show her how much her community supports her. She has plans to continue to raise money by working after school painting and babysitting. She has also sold some handmade items to add to her funds. This is a daunting task for anyone, and I'm proud of her efforts. Donations would help take the stress of raising the full amount on her own, and allow her to focus on preparing for her extended time abroad.
Kiki will be leaving in July or August (too soon if you ask me!), and needs to make payments for her trip now through July. The cost of the trip is $6,000 and anything extra she raises will be used to travel and learn more about Brazil through organized group tours.
