Help Kids Explore The World! #NYC

I teach at the lowest performing school in Broward County. I teach at a school where most may give up on students without seeing the true potential in them-- the potential they have to succeed in life if given the right opportunities. I put my whole heart into my students, especially the ones others may write off. I build a relationship with my students beyond teaching them math... I want students to realize their true potential through experiences they otherwise wouldn't have. I want them to believe in their dreams and have the courage to pursue them. 

My Mission Statement for my students: Don't just accept the life that's been given to you. Just because someone gave you that life it doesn't have to become your reality. I challenge you to go outside your immediate envorinment and I challenge you to explore and discover. I challenge you to see America. I challenge you to get out of your neighborhood. I challenge you to get out of the world you've been given. Be bigger. Be bolder. Be better. I challenge you to read a good book. I challenge you to get your high school diploma. I challenge you to at least try college. I challenge you to be exposed to this country and everything outside the four walls you live in because exposure is everything. It's not what you know that will bring you success; it's what you don't know. 

...and I've been given the opportunity to make this happen for four AMAZING students. Four students who deserve this trip; four students who aside from the struggles of daily life  continue to strive for more and to be more. Four students that I believe in so much. Four students who have never stepped foot on a plane, let alone head up to New York City! I just need your help to make this happen financially.
