Kidney for Charlie

Hi There - I am known around here as Nana - I am one of Charlie Paulson's dialysis tech's. I am also his mother-in-law!

I am raising money for Charlie Paulson's kidney transplant recovery & healing fund.

A miracle has happened! Charlie is a 35 year old young father with an extremely aggressive form of Polycystic Kidney Disease. An altruistic donor came forward and donated a kidney to Charlie! This selfless person is a testament to the love & kindness that still exists in this world. This selfless act effects so many lives on so many levels.

This is urgent because Charlie's kidney transplant is in just a few days. Charlie just started his dream job as a high school math teacher. Charlie's kidney disease is fatal and he needs the transplant a.s.a.p. After the surgery, Charlie will be on medical leave, but their financial situation is unknown because of the 3 month recovery period. Charlie will have a suppressed immune system. This money will help Charlie's family to supplement the extra costs of prepared delivered organic meals and housekeeping which is essential to his proper healing after the transplant.
