Pink Socks To Kick Breast Cancer

Donation protected
Breast Cancer changed my life, a little over 6 months ago at age 42, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and underwent a double mastectomy.  Luckily for me, early detection has given me the best odds possible.  There are so many people whose lives are touched by someone with breast cancer.  Last year our soccer club, Maryland United FC, started having the players wear pink socks during October to raise awareness for Breast Cancer and show support for anyone whose life has been affected by this disease.

As my children and their teammates wore the pink soccers last October, I would have never have thought that it could be me.   This Spring I missed alot of games during my recovery, but I am  now back to being the true "Soccer Mom"  which I can honestly say is one of the biggest enjoyments in my life.    I couldn't be more thankful to all of the friends, family members, and fellow Maryland United FC members who have shownsupport for my family and me.

Please help support our goal in having our entire club wearing the Pink Adidas soccer socks to not only raise awareness and show support, but to also raise money for Breast Cancer Research and to start a scholarship fund to allow kids to keep playing even if they have a family member who  is batteling cancer.    Each donation of only $15 will supply one player with a pair of new Adidas Copa Zone Pink Socks and raise money for Breast Cancer Research and start a scholarship fund.  October 2014 is here so let's PINK IT OUT!
