Hi All,
I'm Jessica Art from Key West Florida.
Hurricane Irma hit the Florida keys , our home, very hard.
Currently, Key west Florida is being baracated and blocked from entering by the police. Meaning , We cannot go home.... until who knows when sadly. There is no date set on Re-entry for residents.
We are currently homeless.
We as in, Myself (Jessica), Michael, James (age 7) Kylie (Age 4).
My family is still unsure of how our home is, if there is any flood damage, etc. We aren't allowed to go to our island of Key West because of devistation left due to the hurricane. We are all out of work, and my kids can't go to school or continue our normal lives at this time. Bills are piling up and resources are limited.
We Started this Go Fund Me to Raise money for Food, gas , resources needed to survive and to pay all our bills that are piling up. Since we are all out of work due to this disaster, We will use all donations for food for our family and animals, Accomidation (housing), Gas to get back down into the florida keys when ready for entry, and our bills which are piling fast.
My Family and I have evacuated the Florida keys and that saved our lives by doing so... We have pets with us as well...they are family and we didn't abandon them!
we have been traveling long, and are in need of help. I grabbed what I could and stuffed it all into my Nissan :/ I only brought some small resources ,
