Hi Everyone!
This August I FINALLY get the awesome opportunity to work with the Global Autism Project SkillCorps Team in Kenya! As some of you know last year there were unfortunate events that happened in the country resulting in the trip being cancelled. Luckily, I get to go this August from August 2-18!
For those of you that don't know my connection to autism, here is a little background information for you! The past two years in graduate school, I have come to find out my calling of working with children with autism. Taking classes, working with great families, and conducting research, I am trying to become the best advocate I can be for this population. This upcoming fall, I will be beginning my PhD progam in Rehabilitation Psychology to further my knowledge and gain even more credentials to assist this population! I am honored to say that I will continue to enhance my experiences by supporting the children, teachers, and doctors in Kenya!
With this being said, I am fundraising to go on this AMAZING trip! Every dollar will really help. I am so lucky to have such great friends and family and I appreciate any donation you can give.
