Mission Trip to Kenya & Uganda

Dear Supporters,
I am planning a mission trip to Kenya and Uganda for 12 days late July. During my last time in the area in 2006 my heart was utterly gripped by the issues many young rural girls experience like female circumcision, child marriage and institutionalized rape. My mission will be to connect with indigenous human rights groups which are taking bold stances to reshape their own societies toward lasting change for girls. While major strides are being made, the overall transformative surface has yet to be scratched. It is my purpose to advocate on behalf of such change through East African and domestic alliances so these girls and generations after them have a chance to experience a more abundant life.
This is an estimation of my trip expenses:
Airfare $2500
Room & Board $900
Ground Transportation $600
Passport Renewal and Visas $300
Vaccinations & Miscellaneous $400
