Kelsea (Young)Ochs Fire Relief Fund

Donation protected
One of the greatest people in the world, Kelsea (Young) Ochs lost her home and everything she owns in the wildfire that devastated Weed, California on Monday (9/15). Luckily, Kelsea’s family is safe, but everything else was lost. For those of you who may not know Kelsea by name, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mauritania, West Africa from 2007-2009. During her time in Mauritania, Kelsea always put others first; at a time as difficult as this she’s still doing the same. In continuing her role of helping others, Kelsea has been working in community development as well as serving as the high school soccer coach in Weed for the past few years. She is not concerned about herself and her losses at this point, but is deeply worried about the other members of her community who are not able to replace even a fraction of what they’ve lost in the fire. Specifically, she is upset that her soccer players may not be able to get back on the field to find some small sense of normalcy, since their families are understandably much more concerned with finding a place to live and scrapping together necessities rather than buying cleats, uniforms, and soccer balls.
We have started this fundraising process to raise money for Kelsea to help her high school players and their families replace some of their belongings. If you have connections to acquire cheap or free soccer balls, equipment, and gear that would be helpful as well. Anything you can donate at this point is appreciated. Please pass this on to friends and family members that may be able to help.

*Edit per request of gofundme - Apparently some clown complained that this "may not be real" or that I may be keeping all the money or something like that*
1.  My name - Amber Wolak
2.  I'm from - Escalon, CA (Kelsea lives in Weed, CA)
3.  Kelsea Ochs is one of my best friends.  We met in Peace Corps Mauritania in 2007
4.  Money will be spent to benefit Kelsea's soccer players who also lost everything in the Weed, CA fires (Kelsea has already helped players purchase cleats, gear, and equipment to get back on the soccer field and gain some sense of "the new normal" - This money is so that she doesn't have to do it with her own money since she obviously needs it to replace everything she's lost)
5.  Kelsea will be giving the money DIRECTLY to the players in need
