Hi, My name is Kelly Cervi and I am a 35 year old wife and mother of 2 who has battled chronic/late stage Lyme disease most of my life. I was diagnosed almost 5 years ago and I have tried many doctors and many treatments with no improvement. I have been slowly deteriorating and spend most of the time in bed. When I do get out with my family I do it with the help of a walker or wheelchair. I have gone from a very independent helping person to being very dependent on family and friends and needing more help than I could ever imagine.
Although I had started to believe that I may never get better, I finally have a ray of hope. I have heard from people as sick and sicker than me get help through a wonderful place called Sierra Integrative Medical Center (sierraintegrative.com). I have made an appointment for July. I will have to travel from my home in Minnesota to Reno, Nevada and stay anywhere from 4-8 weeks and then probably return again for check ups and more treatment if needed. I need to raise the money to pay for treatment, travel, lodging, meds/supplements, food etc. Leaving my family this long will be the hardest thing I've ever done but it will all be worth it if it starts me on the road to recovery. This disease has left us broke with no hope of ever being able to afford something like this but I feel it is the last chance for me to get my life back and be a part of my family again.

Update June 6,2014:
I am so blessed and overjoyed that we have raised so much so far. I haven't reached my goal yet but I will be rescheduling my appointment for Fall/Winter of 2014 and hoping and praying we can get me there and save my life! I love you all. Thank you for everything you do.
Update July 2014:
I have rescheduled my appointment at SIMC for October 14, 2014 if we can raise the money by then.
Update january 2015:
I am waiting until we get close to our goal to schedule again. I'm hoping to raise enough to make it there sometime this year. Spring or summer would be awesome! Thanks for all the love and support!!
