Kelli's Medical Fund

It was 615 pm on Monday, December 4, 2017 when Kelli was rushed to the ER 30 minutes before she was supposed to teach one of her weekly spin classes.  She appeared to have suffered a stroke as her speech was slurred and disjointed and her left arm paralyzed.  After multiple MRIs, CAT scans, and tests, results revealed she had a tumor and excessive bleeding within her frontal lobe.  As the tumor got bigger, surgery was unfortunately inevitable.  Kelli had the tumor successfully removed and the bleeding stopped on the morning of Saturday, December 9, 2017.  Kelli was then released from Hoag hospital 2 days later on Monday, December 11, 2017.  As of now, Kelli is currently waiting to hear the diagnosis of the tumor’s biopsy and we all pray and hope for good news so she can start her rehab and recovery right away.  If the biopsy shows further surgery or treatment needed, updates will be made to this page so you will all know her current progress.

About Kelli and Where the Funds will be allocated

Kelli is well known in her personal and professional life for her tremendous amount of energy, strength, selflessness, and sweet disposition. It has been hard for those who know and love Kelli to watch her go through something so difficult and sudden even though her perseverance has made her recovery seem effortless.  Her positivity continues to be incredibly contagious and she brightens any room (even in a hospital bed) with her smile and presence.  Kelli’s friends and loved ones have been by her side every step of the way and pray for her continued successful recovery.  Everyone is overjoyed by the strides she has made in such a short amount of time.

Kelli works harder than most people but the road ahead is going to present many challenges physically and financially while she focuses on full recovery. We are hoping our amazingly supportive community can come together to help with her medical bills, treatments, rehab, and monthly living expenses. No amount is too small and everything is beyond appreciated. Kelli has expressed (with tears) many times how she feels so much love from everyone.  Let’s give back to her and thank her for that awesome smile, booty shake, and gun show that has graced our lives!  We are all rooting for her and want her healthy and happy forever!
