<div>For more than two decades, the Down Syndrome Kosova Association (DSK) has been — and continues to be — a place where children, youth, and adults with Down syndrome, along with their families, find support, development, and hope

<div>Through our five centers in Prishtina, Prizren, Mitrovica, Ferizaj, and Gjilan, DSK provides free therapeutic, educational, and social services that help every person develop their abilities, build independence, and take their full place in society.

<div><strong>What we do every year</strong>
</div>
<div>More than 40,000 therapy and education sessions a year — speech therapy, physiotherapy, developmental and occupational therapy, behavioral support, non-formal education, and vocational training. Over 8,600 independent-living support services for young adults. And professional guidance for around 700 parents and caregivers.

<div>But these are not just numbers. They are first words. First steps. New skills. Greater confidence. Moments of progress that change lives.

<div>Due to ongoing financial challenges, DSK urgently needs support. Without sufficient funding, services may be reduced or stopped altogether — leaving hundreds of children, young people, and families without the professional support they rely on every day.

<div>Më shumë se 40.000 seanca terapeutike dhe edukative në vit — logopedi, fizioterapi, terapi zhvillimi e okupacionale, menaxhim sjelljeje, edukim jo-formal dhe aftësim profesional. Mbi 8.600 shërbime mbështetëse për jetesë të pavarur për të rinjtë, dhe mbështetje profesionale për rreth 700 prindër e kujdestarë.
