Keanu Cleft Reconstruction Surgery

Keanu was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate.  He had his first corrective surgery at three months and his second before his first birthday.  Since then he has had various smaller surgeries and has worn braces for much of his life. Despite all this he has always been happy and confident.  He has a heart of gold and would do and give anything for anyone, seldomly thinking of himself first.

As a single mom raising three children and working two jobs, it is difficult to come up with the money for the new set of braces needed and the upcoming surgery.  Keanu suffers from Oral Malocclusion which is the abnormal alignment of the teeth and the way in which the upper and lower set of teeth fit together.  He needs to have his lower jaw set back so that he may speak better and not suffer from lock jaw and other complications due to his birth defect.

Anything is greatly appreciated.  The $18,000 is an estimated amount based on the $12,000 quoted by the oral surgeon, an approximate $6,000 for braces and time off work.  If by the grace of God we raise more or the bills work out to be less, the surplus will be donated to "Little Smiles" an organization that helps children born with cleft lip and/or palate.
