My Baby Died, Mommy Doing Great

My son Keagan was born on May 20th, 2014 and died May 24th 2014.
Keagan was born without a heart beat after my wife's uterus ruptured during labor, resulting in a traumatic emergency C-section followed by an emergency hysterectomy.
A team of doctors worked furiously to save our baby and after 25 minutes of CPR, his heart started. My wife and I were able to see him for just a moment before he was life-flighted to a larger hospital. Keagan suffered severe brain damage and needed assistance breathing. For four days he hung on while mom got well enough to travel to see him. The evening of May 23rd she was discharged from the hospital and on the 24th our family was able to go down and visit him. We spent the day with him, talking to him, holding him ang kissing him. On our way home that evening, we got the call from the hospital that he had passed away.
My wife Erika will still be recovering from her surgeries for the next several months.

Our goal will enable us pay expenses not covered by our insurance including the maximum out of pocket and other related costs, anything after that will be used for bills.

Thank you and God bless
