My name is Alexa Davis, my younger sister, Kaylie Davis, is going through a series of difficult situations. I am pleading for help to pay for her treatment as she struggles with depression, anxiety, BPD, and several addictions.
She has been in multiple treatment centers that our insurance will cover. She would run away at any chance she was given. That’s when we knew she needed a lock-down facility or we would lose her forever like we did with our father in 2015 due to a drug overdose. Unfortunately our insurance does not cover any lock-down treatment facilities in Utah.
My grandmother, who is also my legal guardian, is a member of the LDS church and these kind people within the church have built up enough money to keep my sister in a lock-down facility for three months. A month has gone by now and though there is progress she still has strong desires and urgent thoughts that only a professional can aid her with.
It can take up to 12-18 months, even more depending on the situation. Three months will not be enough time to get my sister the help she needs, that is why I am turning to others to receive help. Donations of any size is so much appreciated and taken to the heart. Please help me as I save my sister from the path my father has taken.
