Kayla\'s Mission Around The World
Hello family and friends, old and new. My sincere thanks for taking the time to stop by and support my mission!
I have been through a tremendous amount of trials and tribulations over the past two years and have caused those I care about and those that care about me the most a significant amount of pain. It is through these life experiences that I have become much stronger as a person mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. For this reason, I am looking at giving back to others and have chosen to "pay it forward" with Projects Abroad.
I will be participating in a 27-week volunteer program designed for high school graduates taking a year off before attending university. It is a far-ranging international experience that spans three continents, five countries and twelve different service opportunities. I will have the opportunity to help rebuild communities, contribute to activities involving human rights campaigns, facilitate the learning of English and social skills, engage with children in need and take part in marine conservation and awareness activities.
Supporters can help by donating cash to help cover the $29,995 fee for my participation on the project. I too am contributing by the various jobs I am working which include coaching swim team, life guarding and any other odd jobs I can pick up along the way.
