Help Kayla, Help Kenya!

Jambo! (hello!)

My name is Kayla Recck. December 27th, 2013 I will be taking an amazing, eye opening and cultural adventure, as I travel to Nairobi, Kenya to do orphanage work in a Swahili Village!

After 11 years of working with children of all ages, volunteering in my local communities, and being a human services student with a passion and desire for giving and traveling, I have been truly inspired to work with, and help the orphanages in Kenya.

The reason I started the "GoFundMe" page is to provide personal assistance as well as assistance to the children who are less fortunate. A goal of mine is to provide any necessities that these orphanages may need during my time spent in Kenya (mattresses, food, clothing, repairs ect).

Imagine if the world was full of givers, how amazing our communities would be. There is a world outside of the United States border, and I have found it to be inspiring. If you could donate even just one dollar, I promise you it will go a long way, and to a very good cause :) :)

I am a proud member of International Volunteer Headquarters (IVHQ). This organization places volunteers in developing countries all over the world. They have given me wonderful assistance, information, and the comfortably to pursue my interest in volunteering abroad.
