Please Help our girl

As most of you know, I had spinal (cervical disc replacement) surgery just 2 months ago. The guy who hit us got off because my dr didn't listen to me and do imaging. When I finally got the imaging done, the case from the car accident was closed. All of the costs are on us. (The statute of limitations was missed by 2 months) I am on my way to recovery but last week my husband, Rob hurt his back and has a herniated disc with extrusion. We are trying to get a cortisone shot for him because his pain is unbearable and he can not sleep. We used our savings to pay for my sx, physical therapy and even went through thousands of dollars in a just a few weeks of childcare costs.
As if the financial burdens gets larger, our dog Kaya decides it's a good time to tear her ACL (cruciate ligament) in her Right knee. We sedated her today and took radiographs. We had an ortho specialist consult with me and look at her rads. BOTH knee's will need to be done. Both have effusion present. After I picked myself up off he ground I came to the realization that we need help. With all of our medical costs coming up, we just don't have enough. If you can find it in your heart to donate, we REALLY appreciate it.
EACH knee surgery will be $3500-$5000.
She is only a year and half old and will benefit greatly the sooner we can do sx on her Right knee. That one is worse.
The post op recovery for her sx will be 12 weeks, on leash, no stairs, no jumping, running etc. We will be making our Guest room our room so we don't have to carry her upstairs. We are so very greatful for anything you can donate. Even if $5, We will be so indebted to you and your kindness. Our animals are our kids and they get everything they need. In our eyes, she is not "Just a dog." She is our little girl. She deserves to move without pain. We will keep you updated as things progress.

Update: Since the original posting, I have had to take an indefinite leave from my career as a veterinary technician. My neck pain and back pain are too extreme for the long days. It is one of the most physically demanding jobs there is and in order to give my kids their best mom, I had to step back. I hope to be able to do it again some day but all of my kids, furry and human, need their mama.
