Kay Miracle is one of the most respected musicians in Central New York and beyond. Her music and influence has been felt by friends around the country.
But today, she is homeless because her significant other of 4 years ruthlessly locked her out of the home they shared while she was away in Virginia accepting an Americana songwriting award. He has stolen everything she owns. Clothing, PA system, all her instruments, everything she's ever worked for. In addition, the company she's worked at for over 25 years is now closing in two weeks, so she's going to be unemployed. It could be many months before she has her personal belongings returned to her, if at all.
Though the authorities are fully aware of this horrific act, they are at this point stating "Its a civil matter."
While this all unfolds, we at the Music United Foundation of Auburn, a not-for-profit organization whose mission it is to help musicians in need, have put this Go Fund Me project together to help Kay get back on her feet. Presently she's staying with friends, but needs clothing, will have to fix her truck from damage done and so much more.
Kay has given so much to so many communities, has donated her time and talents to countless benefits across the state, its our turn to help her get back on her feet from the evil that has happened.
Please, give any amount you can. We hope to reach our goal of $3,000.00. The Music United Foundation will be the underwriters and will be distributing monies to Kay directly as a 501c3 donation.
