Katie's Melanoma Fund

Our daughter Katie (13 yrs old), was diagnosed with Malignant Spitzoid Melanoma on her right forearm in July 2013. She underwent surgery for excision of the area with 2 cm margins on either side of the tumor and also a sentinel lymph node biopsy was required. Katie had two lymph nodes removed in her right armpit and both tested negative. That means Katie is cancer-free now! We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from family and friends. Many of whom have expressed interest in helping financially with the large medical bills we are struggling to pay while raising a large family. Katie is recovering well from the surgery and is back on the swim team and in good spirits. Any small amount of help you are able to offer to our family would be greatly appreciated! :)
