Another Route Round

I am cycling around the world. I will cover 18000km in one direction passing through two antipodal points. I am doing this trip unsupported and will be camping a majority of the route in order to save as much money as possible.  I am doing this trip on a shoestring and after the theft of my bike I need to raise further finances to contribute towards the flights I will need to take between countries as well as the possible nights I may have to stay in a motel/camp sites. One of my fears is not alway being able to know where I shall be sleeping each night. I would love as many people as possible to be part of this journey and I will be tracking my ride as well as blogging as I go. My hope on this journey is to promote mental health awareness as well as wildlife conservation efforts in Africa. I am in talks currently with charities in how best to raise money for them and promote their message along the way.  Being able  to do this journey and take on both a physical and mental challenge will mean the world to me. I have spent years dreaming about having the opportunity to do such a thing but constantly believeing that these types of adventures are for the special few. I am just a very average girl and want to prove that even average people can achieve great things and for great causes. Any contribution will make this trip more doable and will be so appreciated!

Any contributions that are ultimately not needed for the journey then will be added to the money I hope to raise over the course of this journey for my chosen charities in mental health and wildlife conservation. I really want to make this journey worthwhile and hope that contributions in the short term will put me in a position to make a difference in the long term.
