Fighting Breast Cancer
I found out I had breast cancer in March and within 2 weeks I was starting Chemo because it was a very aggressive cancer and was already in four spots. I go every year for my mammogram and was totally caught off gaurd by how far along this cancer was. I am pretty independent and was working a full time job which I thought I was going to be able to continue through out my treatment. Well, that really isn't the way it worked out. I was so sick with my treatment that I had to go on disability the middle of April with the hopes that I would get used to this chemo and I would be able to go back to work. Well that never happened either and I am still off work because I got sicker with every chemo treatment. My battle is still far from being over. I just had a double mastectomy and with the testing done, I am now going to have to have radiation treatment which I was not prepared for. Now I will be off work even longer now then I thought and financially it is going to be tough. It is hard for me to ask for help, because I am pretty independent and I tend to get things done by myself, but this is a little bigger than I am and so now is the time to ask for a little help. If you are able to donate, I thank you so much and appreciate your help. Friends have been helping me with meals, cards, prayers and support and I thank them for that too. If you are unable to help, no worries, please just keep me in your prayers and thoughts, it helps so much.....
