Karman Mcleod is a 45 year old Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew and son to many who love him. Last week he fell very ill with the flu, and when his wife Robyn brought him into the Hospital to get treatment, their world as they knew it came crumbling down all around them.
They were told that Karman was in Heart Failure and was put into a medically induced coma , his kidneys and liver were failing him along with his heart.
he has since been air lifted from Saskatoon University Hospital to University Hospital in Edmonton where he is awaiting surgery for an artificial heart (LVAD)
Left Ventricular Assist Device, he will have to have this until there is a donor heart available for him.
Karman has always been a proud provider for his family, always hard working, always wanting the best for his family, He and his family made the decision to move to Saskatchewan from B.C. last August looking for a better life for his wife and kids.
and then a short 7 months later, their lives have been turned upside down.
We don't know how long it will take Karman to heal enough to go home with his loved ones, let alone to get back to work.
Travel and lodging have become so overwhelming, not to mention day to day expenses, ANY donation would be a HUGE relief and one less thing for Robyn and Karman to worry about.
