In Loving Memory Of Karl Monroe
Donation protected
It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karl Monroe, our beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend on Friday, April 24, 2015.
Karl’s departure was unexpected and likely the result of heart failure. He passed away in his sleep Friday morning in his home in Mesa, AZ.
Unfortunately, he did not have life insurance at the time of his departure. We the family have setup a Go Fund Me account to assist us with the costs of the funeral and burial services. As many of you know, the costs can be incredibly steep, so this fund will go 100% to covering costs. We don’t know the final number, as we are currently working with a funeral home to have him brought back to his home town of Chicago, IL, which will be his final resting place. However, it is anticipated it may be as high as $15,000.00.
Any money raised above the funeral and burial expenses will be donated equally to both the American Heart Association in honor of Karl Monroe and the American Cancer Society in honor of his eldest sister Elaine Monroe that lost her battle with cancer in March 2014.
We thank you in advance for any donation given.
