Dear Friends,

A group of people have gathered together to help out with finances for Kody Wallace which is Anthony and Karen Stavinoha's son.  If you do not know please read Kody Wallace’s story below.

Most of my family & friends know my story but for everyone I start form the beginning. I was born July 12 1986 with a congenital heart disease called Transpostion of the great artey doctors told my parents at that time they could patch it up but later I would require a transplant. In June of 1991 I received a new heart. Growing up I always felt normal just
knew I had to take some meds  & visit with doctors every so often. I was born an only child but God has blessed me and abbey wallace with the greatest gift of life our very own little boy born 12-9-09 Brock Austin Wallace. I think to myself & couldn't imagine being blessed with a son of my own it was life changing. So we decided I would work & she could raise Brock & contuine school. Well god had different plans she was one semester away & hello your going to be a father of 2 boys so Brody James Wallace was born on 3-14-14. I was blown away it has always been a dream of mine to have at least one & boom god blessed me with 2 mini mes.  I'm now 28 my life has just began if you ask me but remember I have been transplanted for 23 yrs now & doctors only expected 12/15 yrs back in 1991.  I have lived a great life & I live each day to thr fullest and god willing I'm not done living yet & want nothing more then to help raise my boys to man hood & create life long memories with them. Ones they can grow up & remember i wanna be there best friend, watch them play football or hit a home run. Help them kill there first buck or catch that first big ol red fish. Teach them how to treat a woman & go to there first dance. A lotta things I got to live for in my mind that's why I believe I'm here for a re-transplant God has a plan for me other wise he would have already called me to him. In sept this yr while at work I was walking to my truck & passed out hit my head on the concrete a lady was over me asking questions, ambulance came took me to Odessa hospital where I received a staple & was jet flown to st. Luke's.  Went to icu my dr said I needed a pacemaker as my heart rate fell blew 30/40 causing me to pass out from lack of oxygen. Got all that done & went back to work @ oct 18. When I arrived home I was not myself endurance was down, right side hurt so I went back in for regular test utamilety my heart was just wearing out & getting old not pumping  or squeezeing hard enough for good blood flow through my whole body. My dr said I can send you home & wait for a heart it my take yrs & utamilety you would end up in worse shape with other organ problems or we can put a ballon pump in to take the work load off your heart & save your other organs for when you get a donor the only thing in bad shape is the organ we plan to replace. So I said ok sounds like the best plan only down fall is Ill be in icu with this pump till they find a heart which could be 2 months to a yr no one knows except the man upstairs. But I'm ok with that as I'll look at it this way 6 months to a year in here will not be fun but in return a new heart & who knows how many YRS of healthy living & great memories with my 2 best friends I'll receive The Lord willing 20/30 heck maybe even 50 ya never know. For now I'll just take it one day at a time walking stride for stride with The Lord by my side  & family & friends.
