I am SO excited to announce that I am officially contesting for the 2015 crown for the Miss Massachusetts USA pageant!
I have been competing in pageants for more than a decade, and as I near the age limit for the pageant, I have decided to take my passion for life, my willingness to help others and my goal of making a difference, to the big stage.
For those of you who aren't aware of what's been happening in my life, allow me to fill you in. I currently work full time at a high school as a College and Career Resource Coordinator and AP Coordinator. At that same high school I serve as the Assistant Varsity Coach for the Cheerleading team, a team that has successfully earned a bid to states for two seasons in a row!
When I'm not working or coaching, I am often writing papers for my Master of Arts in English that will be complete this summer. I hope to earn a full-time teaching position in the Fall of 2014 in English. I hope that my future students share my love of literature and the English language.
Having accomplished so much and with the support of my amazing friends and family, I have decided that there is no better time to hit the big stage again.
The pageant is scheduled for November 22-23, 2014. I am eager to begin training and preparing for the big day, and your support would mean the world to me.
Your donation would be applied to my entrance fee for the pageant, as well as wardrobe needed for competition weekend (Interview attire, Swimsuit and Evening Gown). Any additional funds that I collect will be dedicated to the American Cancer Society to help fund research and help those battling such a terrible disease.
