Kaiser Breitlander Memorial Fund

Four years ago on January 15, our lives were changed forever when we lost our first-born and only son, Kaiser James. Kaiser was a happy little boy who loved to laugh and make others smile.
During the darkest days of our grief, our friends helped us establish the Kaiser Breitlander Memorial Fund. Over the last three years, this fund has been used as a scholarship to help a special little boy named Dustin, who was very close to Kaiser. This scholarship has given Dustin the gift of a quality, bilingual education and has forever impacted his life in a positive way.
It is now the goal of the Memorial Fund to continue to sponsor Dustin and more children like him. We have seen the impact of how a quality education can dramatically improve the lives of children and their families, and we want to bestow this gift on more underprivileged children in the community.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 this year to go to the Kaiser Breitlander Scholarship Fund at La Paz Community School. 100% of all donations will go toward assisting Dustin, and other children like him, attend La Paz School and thrive.
La Paz is recognized as a non-profit association in Costa Rica as well as a qualified recipient of World Children’s Project, a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization in the United States. As a result, all donations made from both the USA and Costa Rica are tax deductible. (See FAQ from this link)
