Hello friends and family,
I have caught a bug, a very fierce one at that. I yearn to learn more, grow more, and most importantly make more change in this world! I have felt lead and decided to continue another year with this amazing organization Breakdown International. I was apart of the touring team last year and was truly honored to be apart of something so amazingly spectacular!
This touring travels across the country performing at High Schools, even middle schools, and community centers to encourage, enlightening and re-ignite the youth of today. Our 60min assembly entails dancing, singing, acting, video, spoken word and state of the art lighting to portray our real life testimonies dealing with issues such as bullying, absuive relationships, drug addiction, suicide, and cutting just to name a few. We promote the message of HOPE past circumstances! If we made it, so can these young people!
BreakDown International is a Christian based organization, so we value Christ as the center of everything we do! After performing for a series of schools within an area, we then invite them to an "after-party" and this is where we explain our testimonies in further detail, and revealing that the "hope" we mention in the assemblies is really JESUS!
I have witnessed hundred of youth come to Christ last year, and thousands of young people were reached with our message. We aim to reach more students this year and spread the love and hope of Christ. I would love if you would partner with me and help support me as I dedicate my life to this mission for the next 9months. We join the team as pro-bono artist so we have to raise all our own funds to cover our expenses. In addition to this 9month commitment with BreakDown Internatinal I also plan on doing mission work in Puerto Rico next summer with another ministry I volunteer for Elevate International. The trip cost around $1,500 so that cost is also included in my total.
By donating you will help me cover my monthly bills such as phone, credit card, and student loans. Help me buy toiletres and other personal hyigene items. Help me with food and cover miscellanous or unexpected expenses. ANYTHING helps and all is blessed by God when you sow into His ministry!
