HELP KELBURN CREW AND ARTISTS OVER SUMMER 2020
Due to restrictions to combat the spread of Covid-19 and to keep our campers safe, we sadly decided to postpone this year’s Kelburn Garden Party until July 2021. Cancelling this summer's festival was an extremely tough decision, but one made much easier by all the messages and virtual hugs sent to us by our Kelburn family.
Of course, this decision has had a massive impact on our festival family. Our crew of freelancers and artists put their heart and soul into making Kelburn Garden Party what it is, and many have lost work as a result of the festival’s cancellation this summer (not to mention work at every other event this summer). We’d like to commit to paying them what we can for their time making the Kelburn House Party and keeping the festival spirit alive during these very hard times.
Which is why we need you. We’re asking anyone who tunes into Kelburn House Party to donate to this crowdfunder, which we’ll split between the artists and crew who have made our digital festival happen. We understand that not everyone will be able to donate - and those of you who have rolled over your tickets have given us so much already! But if you can, a contribution to the pot would mean the world to us.
You don't need to watch the House Party to donate - if you want to just show some support for the people behind these amazing festivals, we would be extremely grateful.
We also want to take this opportunity to send maximum love to all of those affected by Covid-19 and especially to the amazing people at the NHS and all you essential workers who are keeping the rest of us safe and supplied.
Finally, we thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts for your support in making Kelburn such a loving, exciting, and magical place to be; you will be sorely missed this year. We can’t wait to see you all again under the trees and stars in happier circumstances.
