Kind Hearted Lankans is holding its very first medical camp in Sri Lanka and would greatly appreciate your kind support! Kind Hearted Lankans is a non-profit organization/community that continues to inspire Sri Lankans and others by performing extraordinary random acts of kindness for those in need.

This one day medical clinic will take place on January 13th and aims to serve an extremely rural village called 'Galamudanagama' in Mahiyanganaya, Sri Lanka. There are about 50 families living in shacks there including 50-60 children. This village is situated on top of a mountain, about a 6 km hike up.
We are hoping to raise funds to help purchase supplies, medications, and some stationery items (bookbags, books, pens, pencils) for the children. We will be working with the local base hospital doctors to provide acute medical care and health screenings. We will also take the opportunity to educate the village about preventative care and how to better manage their current health conditions.
We anticipate needing about Rs. 75,000 /- ( ~$500 USD) for medications and another Rs. 55,000 /- (~$360 USD) for the children's supplies. Any additional funds raised will go towards supplies needed by the village and for the clinic.
