Help Jada Break the Cycle and Save Her Daughter
This is the story of Jada.
It begins, as too many do, with a little girl running away from a home that no longer felt safe. At just 11 years old, she stepped out into the world believing any path was better than the one she was on. She was running toward a new life, a glimmer of freedom she thought was waiting on the horizon.
But the world has predators who wait for lost children. The hand she thought was helping her was actually setting a trap.
She wasn’t saved. She was captured.
Her childhood was stolen and replaced with years in the shadows of trafficking. For decades, Jada endured a relentless cycle of exploitation and violence. Her identity was erased, and her worth measured only by what could be taken from her.
There were times she screamed for help. Times she begged. She ran to police, to hospitals, to courts—anywhere that might offer safety. But they didn’t see a victim.
They saw a “troubled woman,” a diagnosis, a problem to be managed. Instead of a lifeline, she was given handcuffs. Instead of a safe haven, she was handed a tent and sent back to the streets. The very systems that should have protected her broke her over and over again.
To survive the unspeakable, her mind did what it had to do: it fractured. It built walls inside her, creating different parts to hold the pain, the fear, and the memories too heavy for one person to carry.
And then—less than six months ago—something changed. After a lifetime of captivity, she ran.
But freedom didn’t feel like freedom. It was a vast, terrifying emptiness. Jada had never been taught how to live outside of survival. And the most terrifying ghost she faced wasn’t from her past—it was her reflection.
She saw her story beginning again in the eyes of her own daughter, Mia.
Mia is now lost in the same system, walking the same terrifying path. The cycle of generational trauma is turning. But this is where Jada’s fight truly begins.
Her mission is not just to survive. It is to heal. To break the chains that have bound her life and to stop them from binding her daughter’s. She knows she cannot pull Mia from the fire until she heals her own burns.
Jada is fighting for freedom—not just her own, but for generations to come.
