The Julie's Angels fundraising page was designed to help raise money to cover Julie's treatment and living expenses after being diagnosed with Limited Stage Lung Cancer in August 2014.
Cancer costs an average of $712 a month in out-of-pocket expenses for those who have health insurance. These out-of-pocket expenses include things like co-pays, travel to and from treatment and prescriptions.
Julie is recieving Radiation Treatment 5 times a week, and Chemotherapy every 3 weeks. She has experienced many side effects from these treatments including severe exhaustion, fatigue, naseau, and will continue to battle these side effects until her treatment is over.
Due to the long list of side effects of these two treatments, Julie will not be working for the next 6-8 weeks.
Although there is Cancer Assistance, many applications are not processed for 6 months!
