HELP ME GET TO THE ISRAEL/PALESTINE PEACE TOUR! MCUSA, MCC and ACC Peace and Justice are teaming up in Israel and Palestine. While there, we will be visiting Mennonite Peace Partners while following the path of Jesus’ life.
I will visit Bethlehem, Nazareth, Galilee and finally, Jerusalem. Stops along the way may include Bethlehem Bible College, Nazareth Village, refugee camps, settlements and community organizations. Our journey will include meeting local activists and villagers in each setting and hearing their stories.
In Jerusalem we may visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial, and attend a Jewish Sabbath service. While there I may connect with Mennonite Central Committee, Mennonite Mission Network and Christian Peacemaker Teams
This learning tour is sponsored by MCUSA and will enable a better vision for peace in that area as well as inform our own peace and justice network here. We will meet Mennonite partners in Israel/Palestine including Palestinian Christians to develop a deeper understanding of occupation that Palestinians experience while gaining insight into the Jewish/Israeli narrative.
