Help Judy heal and survive!

Hi,
If you know me, you know I have worked very hard my entire life, it's just who I am. I do what I have to do to support myself.
March 9th, 2017 I suffered a rare type of heart attack .This type seems to strike people , mostly women, who are in relatively good shape and healthy ! It is so rare that little is known about it.
Fortunately for me, I was quickly taken to Bangor by Life flight chopper, where it was confirmed,  I was having a SCAD heart attack. Two of my coronary arteries had dissected, or torn ,if you will.
I was terrified of course, and oddly in denial at the same time. I just wanted them to fix it already so I could work. Springtime in the gardening business, lets go !
Well , that was not to be. After 4 days in the CCU, I went home . Treatment consists of many limitations, rest, cardiac rehab, much testing, multiple trips to the hospitals and doctors, medications , procedures, and time for healing.
Because the current  protocol is to let it heal on it's own, I need to take it real slow and easy. Keeping my stress to a minimum is  critical to healing and avoiding any further damage, or reoccurrence. I have not been able to return to work.

As you can imagine , not being able to support myself is devastating, not only to my state of mind, but to my finances ! Because I have not worked for 5 months already , the  worry and stress I feel is all consuming ,constant, and of course, not conducive to healing.

Having a heart attack  is by far the most difficult thing I have ever endured, both physically, and emotionally.
Because I am fiercely independent, the thought of asking for help is the last thing I ever thought I would have to do, yet here I am.

These funds will help me with medical bills, with my living expenses, in hopes to be able to stay in the home I worked so hard to  get,  while I am recovering.
Additionally, I need to go to Boston in a couple of weeks for more testing, and a consult with two specialists. This will require at least two trips, the first, a consult, and scheduling the operation .The second trip,  the heart proceedure. Your donations will help me get to Boston , twice, and help pay for transportation, lodging, and food while I am there. Even at the "hospitals patient discount" the per night room rates are outrageous.  I think it will be an outpatient operation, but they want you to stay close, just in case. This proceedure is medically necessary and critical to my continued healing.

Thanks for hearing my story and for your support in my continued recovery. Please let me know if you have further questions, I would be happy to hear from you . I'm including a link with more information on SCAD if you would like to know more about this frightening condition. I hope to help spread awareness about this serious condition and to encourage people not to dismiss their symptoms!
